New Delhi, April 7 -- A man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of an eight-year-old girl in the Aman Vihar area of the national capital, the Delhi Police said on Tuesday.

According to police officials, the accused allegedly lured the minor to his residence on the pretext of repairing a speaker before committing the crime. Acting swiftly on the complaint, police registered a case under relevant sections of the Criminal Code and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
