New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- Eicher Motors and Bajaj Auto reported significant growth in their overall vehicle sales in September, with Eicher Motors registering an 8 per cent increase in motorcycle sales and Bajaj Auto recording 5 per cent growth in total two-wheeler and commercial vehicle sales during the reporting month.

Eicher Motors' motorcycle sales, which are reported through its Royal Enfield business, rose to 1,33,958 units in September 2026 from 1,24,328 units a year earlier. The company said this was its highest-ever monthly motorcycle sales, while domestic sales increased 7 per cent to 1,21,326 units and exports rose 17 per cent to 12,632 units.
