DRI arrests drug trafficker, seizes 2 kg amphetamine in MP's Indore
Indore, Sept. 10 -- The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has arrested a suspected drug trafficker and seized 2.067 kg of amphetamine, valued at around Rs 1.6 crore, in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district, according to an official release.
The action was taken based on an intel that a passenger travelling by bus from Delhi to Indore was carrying narcotics in his baggage. Acting on it, the DRI officers identified and intercepted the suspected person at the Indore-Dewas Toll Plaza on the Indore-Dewas Bypass Road on September 9.
