New Delhi, June 3 -- India is no longer merely catching up with the global economy but is emerging as one of the defining growth stories of the 21st century, increasingly helping shape the global future, said State Bank of India Chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty on Wednesday.

"I thought I've seen everything, but every year brings new dimensions of challenges. But India stands out as a source of stability, resilience and opportunity. Don't look at sensex.
