Mumbai, Oct. 2 -- Actor Dino Morea was called in for questioning in connection with the investigation into the alleged Mithi River desilting scam, stated Mumbai Police.

As per the latest update, the actor was interrogated based on certain leads in the probe led by the Mumbai Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

On Friday, Dino Morea reached the Mumbai Police Commissioner's Office to join the investigation.

Morea's involvement in the investigation stems from his alleged association with contractors and officials suspected of embezzling public funds allocated for flood prevention and drainage maintenance in Mumbai.
