Mumbai, May 1 -- Actor Dileep Joshi, singer Hariharan and chef Sanjeev Kapoor were honoured at the 18th Newsmakers Awards 2026. The artists opened about their journey and the evolution of the craft through generations.

While talking to ANI at the sidelines of event, Dileep Joshi expressed his gratitude to producer Asit Kumarr Modi for giving him the opportunity to work in the popular sitcom 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' which helped him to achive success in the industry.

"I thank our producer for letting me play the character of Jethalal. Our serial will now complete 18 years and still stays in the top 10."
