Tiruchirappalli, March 26 -- Ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, political parties have ramped up preparations, with a notable surge in the modification of campaign vehicles. In Tiruchirappalli, vehicle fabricators have been busy equipping vehicles with LED lights, advanced lighting systems, wireless audio setups, and party banners.

Senthil, who has been handling the modifications, told ANI, "Demand has been steadily increasing, and we expect a further surge in orders in the coming days as candidates begin to finalise their campaign strategies ahead of the elections.
