New Delhi, Aug. 11 -- Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta marshalled eight opposition legislators out of the House after they pressed for an urgent discussion regarding an alleged large-scale irregularities controversy involving subsidised food grain distribution.

Delhi Minister and BJP National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa strongly defended the administration against the accusations and dismissed the allegations while terming the Opposition's conduct "inappropriate."
