New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- The Delhi Police is registering an FIR following a complaint of about the use of pellet guns during the July 20 Delhi protests, sources said on Friday.

The complaint to police was made by pellet gun shelling victim Sahil Lochav, who later said an FIR had not been filed.

The sources earlier said that the complaint is being examined to determine whether a new case can be registered in accordance with the Supreme Court's order."

Rahul Gandhi reached Parliament Street police station and staged a sit-in protest to demand an FIR on Lochav's complaint.
