Delhi Police Commissioner issues strong anti-corruption message in first key meeting with senior officers
New Delhi, July 18 -- Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar on Saturday delivered a strong message against corruption during his first high-level meeting with senior officers, asserting that the force must remain corruption-free and uphold its credibility among the public.
Addressing officers of the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and above, the Commissioner said maintaining a corruption-free Delhi Police is of paramount importance and made it clear that there would be zero tolerance towards corrupt practices within the force.
According to sources, the Commissioner warned that strict action would be taken against any police personnel found involved in corruption or facing credible complaints of graft.
