Delhi LG streamlines land allotment for pending infra, welfare projects; over 150 borewells, new Metro depot cleared
New Delhi, July 8 -- In a major move to boost public infrastructure and urban services in the national capital, Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Wednesday streamlined the allotment of land for several long-pending projects that were stalled due to lack of coordination between various departments.
The LG's intervention follows consistent reviews and subsequent directions aimed at ensuring seamless cooperation between the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and other stakeholder agencies. The move clears the path for critical projects in security, health, education, and environmental management.
