Delhi HC rejects bail plea of former Reliance Power CFO Ashok Kumar Pal in money laundering case
New Delhi, June 10 -- The Delhi High Court on Wednesday rejected the bail applications filed by Ashok Kumar Pal, former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Reliance Power Ltd, refusing to grant him either regular or interim bail in a money laundering case linked to an alleged fake bank guarantee of Rs 68.20 crore submitted to the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) in connection with a tender.
Pal has been in custody since October 10, 2025.
Justice Madhu Jain dismissed the applications, observing that the accused was not entitled to bail at this stage in view of the nature of the allegations and material relied upon by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED).
