Delhi govt steps up district-level anti-pollution strategy; Sirsa directs hotspot mapping, strict enforcement
New Delhi, Sept. 19 -- Following the directives of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi government is strengthening its district-level strategy to combat air pollution, with a focus on identifying pollution sources, ensuring coordinated remedial action and delivering sustainable improvements in air quality.
Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa chaired separate review meetings at District East and North-East Districts at the DM East office and for the South-East and South Districts at the DM South-East office, Lajpat Nagar.
