New Delhi, Sept. 7 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that the government has taken the Satya Niketan building collapse incident very seriously and anyone found guilty will not be spared.

In a post on X, she said nearby paying guest accommodation and buildings are also being thoroughly inspected.

She said immediate sealing of buildings with unauthorised fifth floors has been ordered across Delhi.

The Chief Minister said that MCD Deputy Commissioner, Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer, Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer have been suspended with immediate effect following the tragic Satya Niketan incident.
