New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- Lawyers of district courts across Delhi will resume judicial work on Tuesday, September 22, after observing a one-day abstention on Monday over the amended mechanism for adjudication of contested traffic challans under Rule 167 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.

The lawyers' bodies, however, have decided to intensify their protest if their concerns are not addressed, with the Coordination Committee of All District Court Bar Associations of Delhi announcing a protest march to the Lieutenant Governor's House on September 24.
