New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- The Rouse Avenue court on Tuesday granted 4 weeks' interim bail to Vatsala Aggarwal, Former Director General of Health Services (DGHS), on Medical grounds. She has been arrested in an alleged medical procurement scam case of Rs 700 crores.

Special Judge Vidya Prakash granted interim bail to Vatsala Aggarwal after hearing the submissions of her counsel. The court has granted her interim bail on a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh and two sureties in the like amount, including other conditions.

However, the application of the other accused, Dr. Vinod Kumar Ranga was rejected by the court on Monday.
