New Delhi, Oct. 25 -- The Delhi Legislative Assembly will host a meeting of the Committee of Presiding Officers, constituted by the Lok Sabha Speaker to formulate a Uniform Model of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business for Legislative Bodies across the country, on October 27, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta said on Sunday.

The meeting will be held at the Taj Hotel on Sardar Patel Marg here under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana. Vijender Gupta, who is a member of the committee, will deliver the welcome address.

The meeting will bring together Presiding Officers and representatives of the Legislative Assemblies of Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka...
