New Delhi, March 19 -- A team of Special Cell/ER has apprehended a proclaimed offender who had been evading arrest in connection with an Arms Act case registered in Delhi, police said on Thursday.
The accused was wanted in an FIR under Section 125 BSN and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act at Jagatpuri Police Station.
The accused has been identified as Jaswinder Singh, a resident of Ambala City in Haryana. The 26-year-old had been absconding since the registration of the case and was declared a proclaimed offender by the court.
According to the release, in March 2025, a resident of Jagatpuri, Delhi, received multiple threats and extortion calls/messages on his mobile phone from an international number.
