Hari Nagar, April 2 -- A PCR call was received at around 2 pm on Wednesday, April 1, at Hari Nagar Police Station, alleging that a girl had been killed by her family and her body was being taken for burial.

A police team immediately reached the location and took the body into their possession. It has been deposited in the mortuary for post-mortem examination. Family members of the deceased are being questioned.

Further action will be taken based on the outcome of the enquiry and the post-mortem report, said the Station House Officer (SHO) of Hari Nagar.
