Delhi: 99 lakh MT legacy waste cleared at Bhalswa; Minister Manohar Lal calls for faster action
New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar visited the Bhalswa Dumpsite to review the ongoing legacy waste remediation work being carried out by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), underscoring the government's continued focus on accelerating the remediation and monitoring the progress of clearing legacy waste.
The inspection was conducted in the presence of the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), and senior officials of the Department of Urban Development, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).
