New Delhi, May 27 -- Delhi Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 26-year-old woman who was brought dead to a hospital after allegedly falling from a height in the New Mustafabad area of northeast Delhi, officials said on Wednesday.

According to the police, information was received at Dayalpur Police Station regarding the admission of the woman with injuries sustained from a fall. She had been brought to the hospital by her husband and was declared "brought dead" by doctors.
