New Delhi, July 9 -- Panicked scenes erupted in East Delhi's Madhu Vihar area after at least ten rounds were fired during a violent dispute over the lease ownership of a local banquet hall, police said.

One person sustained injuries after a bullet grazed his leg during the incident, which happened in the late hours of Thursday.

Rehan, an eyewitness to the incident, alleged a pre-planned conspiracy targeting the owners of the establishment.

"They came here with forged documents, claiming that they are going to take possession and that this belongs to them. They have been harassing us for over six months," Rehan told ANI.
