New Delhi, Sept. 6 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from September 8 to 10, the Ministry of Defence said in an official statement released on Sunday.

During the visit, the Defence Minister will hold consultations with the leadership of Sri Lanka on a range of issues and interact with the Indian diaspora in Colombo, as per the ministry.

He will lead a high-level delegation comprising senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of External Affairs, as per the statement.
