Dharamshala, June 4 -- Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama will travel from Dharamshala to New Delhi on June 5 (Friday) to undergo medical treatment on his left knee, according to an announcement from his official X handle.

In a post on X, the announcement stated, "His Holiness the Dalai Lama is scheduled to depart Dharamsala tomorrow for Delhi, where he will undergo medical treatment on his left knee."

The announcement added that following his recovery, the Dalai Lama is expected to travel to Ladakh towards the end of June for an extended stay.
