Dharamshala, April 27 -- The Department of Security of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) on Monday concluded the first-ever "Conclave of Tibetan Freedom Fighters" at the courtyard of the main Tibetan temple, Tsuglagkhang, in the North Indian hill town of Dharamshala.

The event aimed to honour and felicitate Tibetan freedom fighters for their lifelong dedication and service, during which they were awarded the Tibet Medal in recognition of their contributions to the Tibetan freedom struggle.
