Congress's Pawan Khera alleges inaction in Ram Mandir donation row, cites SBI flagging "suspicions of theft"
New Delhi, June 29 -- Congress leader Pawan Khera on Monday targeted the Narendra Modi-led Central government over the ongoing controversy involving alleged embezzlement of donations from the Ayodhya Ram Temple, alleging that the State Bank of India (SBI) had earlier recommended the removal of donation-counting staff over suspicions of theft.
In a post on his official X handle, Khera attached a media report and reiterated his allegations regarding irregularities in the handling of donations made by devotees. He claimed that warnings regarding suspected theft were ignored and raised questions over accountability.
