Hyderabad, June 10 -- Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy questioned the rejection of Congress Rajya Sabha candidate Meenakshi Natarajan's nomination from Madhya Pradesh, alleging that her candidature should not have been dismissed based on a private complaint and raising concerns over the role of the Election Commission in the matter.

Speaking to ANI in Hyderabad, Reddy said Natarajan had already responded to the complaint after receiving notice and argued that the issue should not have led to the rejection of her nomination papers.
