CM Shivakumar urges PM Modi to send central team to assess drought in Karnataka
Bengaluru, July 14 -- Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to immediately depute a central study team to assess the emerging drought situation in the state, citing a 30% rainfall deficit as of July 11 due to the impact of El Nino.
