CM DK Shivakumar holds talks with Centre's inter-ministerial team over drought situation, crop losses in Karnataka
Bengaluru, Oct. 3 -- Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday held discussions with the Centre's Inter-Ministerial Team led by Ajit Kumar Sahu, Joint Secretary in the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, over the drought situation and crop losses in the state.
The Central team has arrived in Karnataka to assess the situation on the ground and evaluate the extent of damage caused by deficient rainfall and the resulting impact on farmers.
