New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- The Taekwondo contingent of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) delivered an outstanding performance at the 5th Indian Taekwondo Kyorugi National Championship 2026-27, held at Mahalunge, Pune, from 16-21 August, winning a total of five medals -- two Gold, one Silver and two Bronze.

A ten-member CISF team, comprising four women and six male players, represented the force at the championship, training at the force's concentration centre at CGBS, Mahipalpur, as per a press release.
