Baku, Oct. 16 -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has urged Israel to cease and withdraw its actions to forcibly establish settlements in the West Bank and called for the full reopening of access to the Gaza Strip, stressing the need to prevent a worsening humanitarian crisis and advance a two-state solution to the Palestinian question.

Wang Yi made the remarks during a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Thursday, on the sidelines of the 7th Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) summit in Baku, Azerbaijan.
