New Delhi, Oct. 12 -- Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava on Monday wrote to the Chief Secretaries of all States and Union Territories, calling for effective implementation of provisions relating to transparent display of healthcare charges.

According to a press release, Srivastava, in a letter to the Chief Secretaries of all States and UTs, has called for a review of compliance with applicable regulatory provisions and appropriate measures to ensure that information on healthcare service charges is clearly visible and easily accessible to patients and their attendants.
