New Delhi, July 13 -- Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will be on a visit to West Bengal on July 13-14.

During this visit, Shivraj Singh will hold an important meeting with Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on agriculture and rural development and will also interact directly with jute farmers and women from Self-Help Groups.

He will conduct a detailed review of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Dhan Dhanya Yojana, Crop Insurance Scheme, Viksit Bharat - G Ram Ji, Rural Road and Housing Scheme, On the second day, 14 July, a high-level meeting will be held at the new Secretariat building in Kolkata.
