Thiruvananthapuram, April 1 -- Keralam Finance Minister KN Balagopal on Wednesday asserted that the state's financial position and administrative performance remain steady, while alleging that the Union government has adopted a "negative" stance towards opposition-ruled states, leading to a significant reduction in their revenues.

Speaking to ANI on the state's fiscal health and governance, Balagopal said, "Kerala's finances and total performance in the administrative sector are going forward smoothly." He emphasised that despite various challenges, the state government continues to function effectively across sectors.
