Guwahati, Aug. 7 -- The Directorate of Census Operations (DCO), Assam, launched the official Census 2027 Theme Song at a programme held in Amingaon, Kamrup district.

The event, held on Thursday, marked another significant milestone in the public awareness campaign for Census 2027, aimed at encouraging citizens across the state to actively participate in the Census process.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp as a tribute to the legendary singer, late Zubeen Garg, whose soulful rendition of the Census 2027 Theme Song will continue to inspire and resonate with the people of Assam.
