Jaipur, Oct. 5 -- A CBI Court in Jaipur has sentenced former Branch Manager of Bank of Maharashtra, Gopalpura Bypass Branch, Jaipur, Ram Bharos Meena, to seven years of rigorous imprisonment with a fine of Rs 2.85 lakh in a Rs 3.61 crore bank fraud case.

The court also sentenced private person Makhan Lal Meena to three years of rigorous imprisonment with a fine of Rs 25,000 in connection with the case. The court passed the judgment on September 30, 2026.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had registered the case on November 9, 2016, on the basis of a written complaint filed by the Bank of Maharashtra, Zonal Office, Jaipur, on June 3, 2016.
