Brasilia, April 2 -- The federal government has launched the National Bioeconomy Development Plan (PNDBio), positioning it as a key strategy to promote sustainable economic growth while preserving natural resources. The initiative, unveiled at the headquarters of Ibama, aims to integrate environmental conservation with innovation, social inclusion and income generation.

The plan has been developed over several months through technical consultations and public participation.
