Los Angeles, March 13 -- Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper is likely to write and direct the much-awaited Warner Bros film 'Ocean's 11' prequel.

According to a Variety report, Cooper, who has lately been in talks to star opposite Margot Robbie in the upcoming prequel, remains among the top choices to helm the film.

The update arrives on the heels of filmmaker Lee Isaac Chung's recent exit from the project after Jay Roach, who was previously also a part of the project.

If confirmed, the 'Ocean's 11' prequel would mark Bradley Cooper's fourth feature as a director, following 'A Star Is Born', 'Maestro', and 2025's 'Is This Thing On?'
