New Delhi [India], September 27 (ANI): Boeing is working on a software update for its 737 aircraft after identifying an issue that could leave pilots without access to automated vertical flight guidance during a specific landing scenario, the aircraft manufacturer's spokesperson said.

The company has informed all 737 operators about the issue last month and provided information reinforcing existing pilot procedures for safely handling such situations. Boeing engineers are now working on a permanent software fix, a company spokesperson said.
