Hyderabad, April 14 -- Telangana BJP on Tuesday hit out at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for writing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi "opposing" the implementation of 33% reservation for women in Parliament and State Assemblies, terming it a clear attempt to stall a historic reform.
State BJP Chief Spokesperson and Media In-charge NV Subash said Revanth Reddy's sudden obsession with "consensus" is nothing but selective outrage.
"When his own party bulldozed divisive decisions in the past without wider consultation, where was this newfound respect for all-party discussions? This is not statesmanship, it is opportunistic politics disguised as federal concern," State BJP Chief Spokesperson remarked.
