New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- BJP National Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia on Wednesday targeted Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of disrupting Parliament to avoid a discussion on the BJP-led Union government's record of bringing back fugitives from abroad.

The BJP spokesperson said the government had brought back 274 fugitives from 36 countries between 2019 and 2026.

He said the Congress lacked the political will to bring back fugitives during its tenure and alleged that Rahul Gandhi was preventing Parliament from functioning to avoid scrutiny.
