Mohali, Aug. 24 -- Ahead of the forthcoming assembly elections, the BJP is set to organise a series of organisational meetings, with the party's national general secretary (organisation) BL Santhosh assigned to chair meetings during his two-day visit.

Punjab BJP co-incharge Narinder Singh Raina on Monday said that Santhosh was visiting Punjab for only two days.

"Our national general secretary, Santosh ji, has a two-day program in Punjab, and there are various organisational meetings scheduled," Raina told ANI.

Santosh will hold a series of zonal meetings with BJP leaders and organisational functionaries across Punjab to review organisational activities and strengthen the party's organisational preparedness
