BJP MP Jagadish Shettar accuses Karnataka government of silence on KPSC irregularities, urges legal appeal against Cauvery water release
Belagavi, Aug. 1 -- Former Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP MP Jagadish Shettar on Saturday accused the Congress government in the state of failing to act against alleged irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), and urged it to immediately challenge the Cauvery water release order through legal means.
Addressing reporters in Athani town of Belagavi district, Shettar alleged that the state government had remained silent despite what he described as large-scale irregularities in KPSC recruitment.
He also questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his silence on the issue while raising concerns over examination-related irregularities at the national level.
