Patna, Aug. 25 -- Bihar Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) Syed Ata Hasnain and Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary paid floral tributes to former Bihar Chief Minister Bindeshwari Prasad Mandal on his birth anniversary in Patna on Tuesday.

A state function was organised near Mandal's life-size statue at the Deshratna Marg and Circular Road intersection, where the Governor and Chief Minister offered floral tributes.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar, Cooperative Minister Ram Kripal Yadav, MLA Shyam Rajak, MLC Sanjay Kumar Singh alias Gandhiji, other public representatives, and members of Mandal's family also paid tribute to the former Chief Minister.
