Bihar: CM Samrat Choudhary urges assistant professors to ensure 75% attendance in colleges
New Delhi, Sept. 13 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday urged newly appointed assistant professors to ensure at least 75 per cent attendance of students in colleges, saying the government's efforts to expand higher education would not yield results if students did not attend classes regularly.
Addressing a gathering of newly appointed assistant professors, CM Choudhary said the state government had opened 211 degree colleges and appointed 2,451 assistant professors, describing the expansion of higher education infrastructure as a major achievement.
