New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel on Monday met senior party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi in the national capital ahead of the forthcoming 2027 assembly elections in Punjab.

The meeting between Baghel, who is the Punjab Congress incharge, and Rahul Gandhi focused on the latter's proposed Punjab visit and preparations for a special bus tour across the state.

While speaking to ANI on his meeting with the party High Command, Baghel said, "I met both Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi; the main topic was the bus journey planned for Punjab.
