Guwahati, Sept. 5 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday reviewed the functioning of Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) and the Assam State Warehousing Corporation (ASWC) at Lok Sewa Bhawan in Guwahati and called for a renewed push towards modernisation, asset optimisation, business diversification and revenue enhancement to make both State-run organisations more efficient, financially sustainable and responsive to present-day requirements.
