Guwahati, July 15 -- To address the issue of school dropout among children, the Centre for Microfinance and Livelihood (CML) has launched three 10-day Motivational Camps for out-of-school children in the Balijana Education Block of Assam's Goalpara district.

Before the camps began, a dedicated team of 15 Education Facilitators conducted an extensive door-to-door survey across remote villages, covering char and hilly areas of the district.

Through this outreach, they identified 45 out-of-school children between the ages of 7 and 13 years. The camps commenced on July 6 at three locations: Khasumari LPS, Pub Pandoba LPS, and Abrarbhita South LPS.
