Hyderabad, Sept. 1 -- Raidurgam Police have arrested Sandeep, son of prominent art director Anand Sai, in connection with a hit-and-run case in Hyderabad.

A speeding Mahindra XUV car allegedly hit two people and fled the spot, leaving one dead and another seriously injured. Police are currently investigating the matter.

Police said, "On 31.08.2026 at about 04:15 hours, a road traffic accident occurred on the main road from ORR Rotary towards Khajaguda village, opposite Ankura Hospital, Khajaguda, within the limits of Raidurgam Police Station."
