Ahmedabad, Sept. 4 -- Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) is set to start dedicated Empty Container Yard operations with integrated warehousing at Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone, according to information sourced from APSEZ.

The initiative is designed to handle the full lifecycle of empty units, covering storage, maintenance, inspection, and direct transfers to exporters and container freight stations.

Mundra Port handles an estimated 1.6 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of empty containers each year, accounting for nearly 35 per cent of India's total container trade.
